♥ Makeup showcase
So I did another vlog but this time it was longer than the last *cough*1hour*cough*. I really didn't think I would talk for that long but I did, introducing all the makeup stuff I had. Since I wasn't paying attention to what I was saying, there were some mistakes. You know, I don't have much makeup but I'm surprised that it took me 1 freaking hour to do this. Actually it took longer than that because I recorded a few clip and then I did a 45-min one but I ended up having to scratch all of them because I wasn't satisfied. When I completed the final one, I just gave up. 1 hour is still a lot of time and uploading it was going to be a bitch so I just took it as the final, finished product.
Yes, it's still private.
I basically started reading and I fell asleep on my bed. :P I think I slept for like an hour or so. Should've never started reading on my bed. Anyway, I've just been excited doing these vlogs because they are easier for me to speak my thoughts out and I get a lot more said than I would ever by typing but I'm not going to just rely on them...oh yes I am. Who am I kidding?
My next vlog would probably be me showing off my Coach purchases so I'll see you then.

♥ Vlog, blog, blah
So after much contemplation, I decided to record a vid of myself...talking to myself. It took me 3 tries before I can finally record myself. Actually, the 3rd time was a whole entry but I didn't like it so I just re-record myself. I still didn't do a good job but as I forced myself to watch the 30-min clip I recorded, I realized...I was horrible but that's ME! The first vid I was totally talking about random things but the final vid was me talking about what I have been wanting to talk about.
Warning: I'm still talking randomly but that's because I don't really think before I speak. It's not like I wrote a monologue and memorized it. It was just me talking. That's why there were some moments where I spoke, stopped, and pondered a bit before I started talking again because I realized I was way too ahead. -.- That's also the reason why I made some mistakes with my choice of wording. I was going to edit the vid but I end up not doing it because 1) I was too lazy to do so, 2) I wanted to show how I really am and if I hate it, then I hate myself (yes, a bit extreme but that's me), and 3) I'm LAZY. So I ended up keeping that 30-min clip. I didn't know it was going to be 30 mins long but I guess I really do talk a lot. I also keep going off track and I was nervous too. Since it was my first time, I guess I kind of hyped myself up so if I do record myself again, I'll try to keep it short. But it's my FIRST time so I think I can forgive myself for talking too much. =)
I also didn't know YT have a limit on the vids you upload so I tried doing that increasing the limit thing and I'm not sure if it worked because my vid is in the middle of uploading...again. So if that doesn't work, I'll probably record another vid of me talking randomly. I don't know. I kind of find myself charming as I watched the vid...but that may because I'm me. It's kind of embarrassing to find yourself charming when you have no charm but I'm getting used to it and to my voice...
So my uploading is done and my limit was removed! Since my vid is private, only I can see it which is what I wanted originally. What's the point of recording a vid of myself talking for 30 mins if I didn't want to share it with other people? Well, I explained that in my video... ^_^ I find that funny.
I really don't have the confidence to share it with other people. I've always been that way. I mean, I can't even watch myself without feeling yucky about it. I mean, it only lasts for a few minutes and then I find myself thinking, "Hey, I'm not that bad". But people are harsh sometimes and may say, "Wtf is she trying to say?" Honestly, this is how I talk. I sure picked some weird topics to talk about. But no one would know if they can't see me, right? Well, except for me. I'll be my own critic.
Anyway, that's all for now. Maybe next time when I record myself talking again, it'll be more interesting. =)

Sigma!
I finally bought the Sigma brushes. I've seen people use them and they're not at a ridiculous price so I bought with the 10% dc...which didn't make that much of a difference. -.-"
So they said that they give a free gift for $30+ purchases but since I didn't see it in the checkout, I didn't think much about it. Then I saw the blending brush and was so happy because I was planning on buying one but since I already have one from E.L.F. I thought I'll just stick with that one instead. I'm super glad I didn't buy it now. Yay. I can't wait to try them out. =) I really want to try the F84 because I decided that since I have a bunch of BB creams, I should really use them before something happens to them. -.-" I'll try using them without using E.L.F's complexion powder and see if they make me break out again. After I finish going through those BB creams, I'm totally buying MUFE's foundation.
Yesterday was Lara's bday and I treated her to dinner. It was my second time eating ramen outside. The first time wasn't as good but yesterday's one was good. We went to Menkui Tei. Their fried squid legs were so good. I love squid... We went to a dessert place after and she got a molten lava cake and I got a cheesecake. I am seriously never buying anything from there. The cheesecake was good but the prices were high for the portions they served. Such a small cheesecake. I can get a bigger piece for the same prices somewhere else. -.- Afterwards, we went to a bt place and I got honeydew. I haven't drank bt for quite some time. I guess I got used to Quickly's bt because I didn't really like the one yesterday. Afterwards, we parted and I came home around 9 30pm. I wanted to write an entry about receiving the brushes but I was too tired. So instead, I'm writing it now.
My bro also left for college so I have the room to myself again. I still need to start looking for a place to live because I have to move out before my bro comes back. Boo... It's so hard to look for a good, cheap place to live. I hate having to share apartment because I've been doing that ALL my life. I want to live ALONE. That's what my mom don't get. But I will not give up easily.
I've been think about vid blogging but I don't know. I'm shy and I won't be able to speak to the camera. Plus, I hate hearing my own voice. It sounds so weird. -.- Yeah, I tried the video thing before. So I gave up on that. I shall finish this entry with some pics I took of myself. Oh! I tried L'oreal Infallible eye shadow in Bronzed Taupe. It's similar to Smog from the Naked palette except I think Smog's a bit more gold. Bronzed Taupe is like perfectly in the middle of Smog and Darkhorse. It's also a bit more sheer than the Naked palette but the color still comes out. I tried using my finger to put the shadow on and yeah, you can't do that. I don't know how other people can do it but I couldn't get the color to come out. So I have to use a brush and I think maybe wet it a little. I'll figure it out. The reason why I wanted to show the pics is also because my lashes came out nicely. I used Fairdrops mascara.

♥ Finally! I got the...
Infallible eye shadows from L'oreal!
I've been looking for these for a really damn long time (1 month but it feels really long). I found them at a Rite-Aid near my place. I got Bronzed Taupe and Infinite Sky. Since I first heard about them, I've been wanting Bronzed Taupe because I wanted that color. I also wanted Amber Rush when I saw a tutorial on it but it looked similar to one of the colors in the Naked palette except L'oreal's version is probably more pigmented and brighter so instead, I just got the Infinite Sky. To be honest, I don't know if that was a good purchase because I don't look good with blue eye shadow but it was such a pretty color, I just bought it. I hope it comes out nicer...or rather I hope I can put it on nicer. =D
So I'm super excited about getting those. Now if I only had that Peach Parfait lip butter from Revlon...
These days haven't been good for me. Especially at home. It's gotten to the point where I finally broke down and cried yesterday. My mom and dad are having their fights and they're bringing me into it...well, mostly my mom. I just can't take it anymore. I want to move out ASAP! But moving out isn't as simple as I thought it was going to be. Money is a huge problem. Rent around NYC is pretty high. It's ridiculous! If I want to live somewhere cheap, it most likely will be in an area that's not so safe and very far from my workplace, which is a huge problem for me because I can't get up early enough. I mean, waking up at 7 30am is already too much for me every morning. Imagine living up in like west Harlem. It'll be a nightmare. So I was thinking about just doing apartment sharing, which is never an ideal type of place to live in but most of them are closer to where I work and it's affordable based on my salary. I don't even liking meeting new people so how the hell am I going to live with strangers? =.="
Ah, so right now, I like no one. I mean, guys. I don't know if I made it clear in my last entry but as of right now, I don't have any feelings for Greg (which has been that way for like a month or so) and Leyda. I think when 2011 left, so did all my feelings. It also helps not talking to him as much. I barely go on AIM anymore. My life has once again become boring but I don't have anymore problems in the love department, which is a good thing since I have so much problems in the family department. I need a break.
Today, I went into work late because I've been having trouble sleeping these days. I ended up leaving early because Vicki told me to. Lolz. She said she was going to leave early too because it's a "holiday". Apparently, MSK don't think of today as a holiday. -.- So I went into work and did my work. I'm catching up now! =D Yay! Great, I hope I don't jinx myself. -.-

♥ Happy new year!!
So these days, I've been absolutely crazy about Lee Soohyuk (이수혁). He's a model and actor. He's so fine. Yummy. I don't know many Korean models who aren't famous as an actor. For example, I only knew about Lee Chunhee and Cha Seungwon, who both started out models, through TV programs and I knew them as actors before finding out about the modelling thing. But I knew about Lee Soohyuk as a model who's friends with G-dragon. A lot of girls seem to be interested in him but they end saying things like he's not as hot as G-dragon. I don't know why they think G-dragon's hot. I think he's just cute...like a kid. He's also into experimental fashion, always trying to create a trend, which works anyway. Anyway, Soohyuk is a model but he's very skinny, in my opinion. I mean, in a girly way. Most men usually like buffing up a bit but he's skinny. I don't mind. I mean, he still has a 6-pack. He's so pale too, like a vampire...which is what he is in his sitcom. =) But I haven't watched it yet because 1) no one's subbing it and 2) it looks like it suck. So instead, I'm watching What's Up. I also watched Tree with Deep Roots (finally!) and White Christmas. I noticed that he's been playing the cool, cold type of character, almost depress-like. That could mean that he can't act but in White Christmas, his character was also a bit dorky so he can act.
Anyway, I've been busy at work. Even though 2012 came, my sleeping habits haven't changed. I should sleep early so I can have enough sleep. Because I keep sleep late, I end up going to work late and I leave later. I also don't have time to put eyeshadow on, which is making my Naked palette a little lonely. Ah! So the last entry I've written about makeup was probably the Naked palette. The Naked 2 came out and you can imagine how I felt about that. I was devastated because the colors looked more like what I wanted. Naked has...only a few selection and most of them are on the brownish side. Naked 2 seems to have a bit more variety. Plus, they put in a taupe color which is what I wanted to try. I can't believe how much my taste in makeup has changed. I mean, I used to like colorful makeup but now, I'm more into the nude colors. But I still like Naked because it's Naked.
After that purchase, I just bought random things here and there. I bought the Fairydrops mascara which I heard about from this makeup blogger and it wasn't like what I expected. I'm not sure if it's because it has sat on the display for too long or if the formula is really just like that but when I opened it up, the mascara was thick and sticky-like. But then again, the CoverGirl LashBlast is like that too, at least the one I got is like that. It also didn't do much; it didn't curl, lengthen or volumize. The wand works great with my upper lashes because I have a hard time getting the lashes at the end but I don't use it for the lower lashes because they're too short. Instead, I use Maybelline's One by One Volume Express, which I favor over the other two. I've been using it these past few days because it creates a natural look and it actually holds my curl a lot better. Plus, my lashes don't get clumpy, which tends to happen when I use LashBlast and Fairdrops. I'm waiting to finish at least two of the mascaras so I can purchase Maybelline's GreatLash (which I've used many times before in blue and black) or Falsies Flared which I've never tried. I've actually wanted to try Stiletto before when it first came out but I never did because I quit using mascaras back then. That was before I started using the curler.
I recently bought one of Revlon's new lip butters in Cotton Candy because I saw that it was in a pink I liked but unfortunately, it comes out sheer on my lips. However, when I wipe my lips with a tissue, the color comes out stronger. I still like it though because of the shimmer. I'm looking to getting Peach Parfait and I hope it comes out better than Cotton Candy.
Other than the products I've mentioned above, I also want to get a better concealer, a high coverage foundation, and the Beats headphones. I'm saving up to buy that because I can sense my earphones are coming to an end. Not soon but within this year, if not 6 months.
That's all the updates I have. Well, not really but my mom just finished cooking dinner and I'm hungry. =D
